    Job Description

    The role of the In-House Sales rep is to generate sales with independent retailers across the US and in particular countries internationally as outlined by the Senior Director of Sales and Operations.

    This person will be main inside sales contact for wholesale accounts and will work closely with the customer service, operations department, any outside sales representatives in an effort to maintain and further develop those relationships.

    This person will need to proactively call on current accounts, but also focus strongly on gaining new and prospective accounts not only to increase sales, but ambassador our brand identity an image.

    Responsibilities

    Pursue and communicate information from accounts within the marketplace back to Senior Management
    Responsible for meeting and exceeding sales and margin quotas as set by account and territory
    Develop tracking and reporting tools for all sales calls and activities
    Proactively seek new opportunities with retailers in various and undeveloped territories
    Provide regular communication with customers to ensure education on both products and brand initiatives

    Requirements

    Needs strong verbal communication for primarily for phone and face-to-face sales
    Needs strong organization and analytical skills
    Detail oriented with the ability to work in fast paced, sometimes stressful environment.
    Ability to prioritize and multi-task
    Attend tradeshows and product presentations as assigned
    Proficiency with order entry systems, web browsers, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
    Be a flexible, positive, team player and maintain positive and pleasant attitude at all times

    Education and Experience

    1 - 3 Years of related professional experience:
    Preferred specialty retail, sales, and marketing experience in the Fashion industry

    Physical Requirements:

    The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee frequently is required to walk, sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.

    Compensation:

    'Vintage Alley.' Our inspiration is 30's, 40's, 50's era.
    We are interested in carrying Goorin Bros. line.
